Tea biscuits

Here is an anti-waste recipe, where once again the main ingredient is bread, we are talking about biscuits prepared with stale bread, tea biscuits.

To prepare the tea biscuits it is necessary to have bread that is not too hard, if it is you can soften it by adding just enough milk.

As for the inside of the cookies you can replace the nuts with hazelnuts ( also the skin ).

INGREDIENTS 10-15 OF TEA BISCUITS:

  • 200 gr. of stale bread
  • 1 egg
  • 125 gr. of soft butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 gr. of chopped milk chocolate
  • 2-3 tablespoons of nuts
  • 125 gr. of flour 00
  • 125 gr. of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

PREPARATION

First, turn on the oven in fan mode at 170°C.

Take the bread cut into thin slices and then add it into a mixer into small pieces.

Finely chop the bread and then pour it into a bowl.

If you have a mixer, put the bread and the rest of the ingredients (the chocolate and the walnuts cut into small pieces) inside the mixing bowl and start kneading, adding the yeast only at the end.

When you have obtained a semi-soft dough, form small piles of dough with a spoon or with your own hands and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Consider cooking for about 10-15 minutes and you will have delicious biscuits to dip and offer to your guests.
